Advancement in technology is usually a positive thing but sometimes it can have a negative effect. By bringing a species of animal back from being extinct for a long time it could have a great effect on our Earth. By bringing a mammoth to life it could destroy the eco system because it is an introduced species. It could also bring old diseases with it that could negatively effect life on the planet. If this project is successful and is then advanced further it may also be used to bring unwanted extinct animals back to life on the planet that could harm the environment by hunting other animals to extinction.
